March 22nd is declared as the World Water Day. To mark the day, the Italian Development Cooperation (IDC) and the Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa will hold a special event. The morning will be dedicated to children: 250 pupils from governmental schools and the Italian school of Addis Ababa will participate to water-related games and to a theatre show realized by the Fekat Circus Artists Association. The Italian Cultural Institute will host the premiere of the movie “The Well” at 6.30 pm. The movie, shot in Oromia by three Italian film-makers and supported by the Italian NGO LVIA, tells about the Borana herders and their practice of gathering with their livestock around their ancient singing wells.
